Ripper's interest in the female was beginning to wear thin. Her answers were much and more of the same, evasive and unyielding when it came to information that would be pertinent to Asteraia's success. It was one of the reasons Ripper had never succeeded under the leadership of the little red wolf - he was more of a passive information gatherer than an active one. He was more skilled in observing and hearing things that perhaps he was not meant to than trying to whittle away at the layers of other informants. Even so, it was likely better that it was him who had intercepted this female than someone who would have laid the plains open and bare for her to investigate.
He blinked at her, unfeeling and uninterested in her advances. She stepped towards him, spinning more words, but Ripper simply yawned in boredom. It was only when she finally spoke directly to him that his ears pricked forward and his eyes considered her more closely. It was not his place to reveal Sekhmet's plans for Asteraia to this woman, but he could appreciate that it was likely not in her normal repertoire to be so straightforward. It sounded almost strange, strangled, for a blunt question to come across her twisted tongue.
