He did not mind helping at all. He was not sure if someone her size could make it up to the log. Her legs were a lot shorter and stubbier. He didn’t know for sure if it was not possible, but figured her getting up to the log would be the most fun for her. At the least, he could help her achieve the small goal.

He was used to playing with his siblings so he didn’t mind when she took him up on his offer. In fact, it made his tail wag when she accepted and started climbing on him. She was a tad bit heavier than he expected, but it was not all that bad. He used what strength he had to help push her up once she was mostly on him. He used his head to push her all the way up and ensure she had good footing before pulling away with his bright blue eyes looking up at her.

She looked pretty pleased to be on top as his chin rested on the log. He didn’t quite expect the lick upon his nose but smiled and attempted a lick back in return. She thanked him and he stepped back, nodding in return. ”Have you ever been that high up before?” he asked. It may be likely that she has been, but always a chance she may not...or perhaps does not experience it often.

”One day you can jump up there, but then you will have other, even higher places to go! Like...up a tree!” he said, pointing his nose to his right towards a tree not far. It was thick and had a large area where the branches split off. He hoped to one day be big enough where he could jump up there…any maybe climb higher from that point. ”One day, we can even go waayyy up there, to the top of the mountain!” he exclaims, turning to look at the mountain before looking back at the young pup. ”Oh my name is Ashur, what is yours?” he asks, resting his chin on the log again and looking back up with his blue eyes on this nice summer day.
