News 03.28.20

Get with me if you want to move up in rank. I'm going to change up the pack tasks for a little change of pace.

Congratulations to Adrian on her promotion to Governess. She will handle the guidance and teaching of our young pups in Iromar.

If you have a ^ next to your name, that means you're up for promotion so see me or send me a message on Discord so we can see where to move you. All others interested in specializing or getting a rank, let me know so we can figure out how to make that happen.

The pack board has been updated. If you wanted to remain a member, let me know either on here or Discord and I'll get you back on the board. Otherwise, let's have a thread!

I know I had a couple replies for the training with Spirane so I will be starting that thread soon. Stay tuned!

I am still working on an alliance with Diveen and Asteraia so stay tuned. If you have any information or would like to help, please let me know. If anyone has any ideas to promote activity within the pack, also, let me know. I am open for plots and such! Meanwhile, thank you all for your continued support of the pack.

- Zelda -

Zelda’s thoughts were such the opposites of the dark male before her. It had been said many times, but it was only more apparent in each others actions and words that they were more and more different than the same. Wolves made mistakes, wolves didn’t have to be punished for every little thing they did. Repenting was far more beneficial she thought to both mind and soul than being physically punished for something they had done. Zelda wanted to take in everyone’s fears, worries and keep them for herself. Absorb the bad with the good. She would take it all, she would die for those in her pack to make sure they got the home they wanted, they deserved to be safe, protected from those that might do them harm for no other reason than that they could.

Zelda could tell what Blackthorne was doing though. What Aspis was doing. This was self preservation at this point, it wasn’t that Aspis was locked up in there, that he really was changing, that the good hearts of his parents of his entire family that she knew of wasn’t there still burning and fighting. It wasn’t that easy to corrupt someone, easier perhaps on children, but Aspis she could tell was burning with determination. Sure, Blackthorne could make him act this way before him, but what would he be the moment his captor was taken away? Even as he blinked up at her she didn’t stop, didn’t falter, simply returned her gaze to the dark brute a few moments with her face hardened and resolve stronger than it had been before. While he hadn’t outright said or admitted anything, all these things were abound and dancing about her with proof. Things some might miss she didn’t. She wanted him to pay, but the how still was lost to her. While this misdeed was great, they were okay. He was toeing a dangerous line and Zelda wouldn’t hesitate to strike back once it was crossed. Maybe not today, but someday. Already her mind was alight with thoughts of how this agreement was surely going to be broken, and it wouldn’t be by her movements first. He would do something she couldn’t ignore, and would bring the light down upon him.

It was proof further when he replied to her, haughty even as he called their parents fools. And how many expect their children to be taken within the safety of their walls? How many had worries like these that they must teach their children at the tender age of one when all seemed right in Moladion. For a tender, short time, peace seemed within grasp, they let their guards down, but it did seem like peace had fallen once again over the lands only to be interrupted by this horrid blackness that was him. She let him give his own twisted reasons. Yes… Alike they were, but raised in different worlds they seemed to be. ”Someone hurt you, and someday I will come after that anger and hatred just I have done others and take it from you.” She replies softly, her gaze matching it as they reached her eyes, almost seemingly sad for him. What could happen to a wolf to make them this twisted she wondered, could he be saved? She doubted it, there wasn’t that flicker there she thought she had seen with Arace. It was only further proof to his thoughts. She was healing, he was destruction. She wanted to cure him, lost as he might be.

Still it was time they came to some kind of agreement. SHe meant her words, she just didn’t know for how long she could keep them. Long as possible. She didn’t want to outright attack him nor would she ever, but based on his actions here, it wouldn’t be long before she and others would be at his doorstep again. ”Thank you, you are most generous to offer me this time.” She said dipping her head to him lightly watching him turn and leave and not really moving until he was well out of earshot of them. It seemed Aspis thought likewise. ”Teza, soon as he comes back with them you are leaving, you will be heading right to Taviora with them, I won’t be far behind.” She said to him.

Teza was uncertain about the whole deal between them, Zelda suerely was something that even their grandfather was not and he and his father. While not stupid, Zelda had something… else, he couldn’t explain it, but again he was happy it was her there and not him. He didn’t think he could stared down a wolf like that and risked debating, he would have likely rolled at the first turn. She held her ground. ”But- um.. Alright.” he was going to protest, but all Zelda did was offer him a smile and a nod before she turned her attention from him to Aspis.

He quickly gave the names she thought though, a smile, though a sad one set on her maw before laying down so that she was more at his level. ”I know. I didn’t do this because I wanted you to truly pick, I wanted to speak with you. Your parents are safe, your mother in Taviora, and your father desperately trying to get you and them back, I am certain. Soon as I am done here I will be trying to find leads on him to let him know.” She said softly so that even Teza next to them couldn’t really make out the words. ”I will protect them, all your family, my family, for as long as they are in my forest, I promise you won’t have to worry for them. You mustn’t give up though. I will be back for you in due time too, I promise. Just don’t give up on us, or yourself or what you know from what your parents taught you. They love you, and would die for you and that is not weakness. It is a strength that many don’t understand until they get it for themselves. You already have it in you, there is no question of that.” She offered him, a smile playing at her maw. Blackthorne she thought was too late in corrupting the boy so darkly. Just trading himself for his sister and friend was enough to prove that. He could have went himself, but no.. he chose this path because he had the strength already there. Zelda was confident in that. ”Is there anything you want me to tell your parents?” She asked, knowing they didn’t have much time.

heroes may die...
but legends endure.

PACK RANKS

Monarch
Pretty simple, Alpha of Iromar. Ultimate authority. What I say, goes.
Chief
The 'Co-Alpha'. He is her equal and has all the same authorities as she does. He is be respected and can take challenges and block steals.
Deputy
The Beta of Iromar. The most trusted wolf under the Alpha. Has all the same authorities of the Monarch in her absence. Second in command. Can block steals and take challenges.
Council
The advisor to the Monarch. One who's wisdom is often sought in matters of politics and war. Not necessarily an elder but someone the Monarch looks up to.
Trooper
The head warrior of Iromar. Shows the most skill in combat and has experience to back it up. Trains the soldiers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Stalker
The head hunter of Iromar. Shows the most skill in hunting and providing for the pack. Tasked with leading pack hunts and teaching the pups of the pack at designated times. Trains the hunters and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Medic
The head healer of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine. Tasked with checking on the Monarch/Deputy after a challenge and also keeping up with mothers around birthing time. Trains the healers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Envoy
The head diplomat in Iromar. Skilled in matters of politics and conversation. Intelligent and witty, this wolf keeps the pack together as one while reaching out to potential allies for support. Council is their direct supervisor. Trains the diplomats and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Governess
The guardian of offspring in Iromar. Skilled as a warrior and alert as a scout, this wolf is tasked with probably one of the most important jobs in Iromar, protecting the future of the pack and Moladian. They can watch the litter while the parents are off doing tasks, hunting, or just enjoying some quiet time. Can serve as guides for the pups, like having a full time guardian. Trains the teachers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Snoop
The head spy in Iromar. Skilled in maneuverability and blending in, this wolf must be a shadow when called upon. Tasked with finding out information about other packs or wolves when called upon, this wolf must be quick as well as witty, able to make anyone believe anything. Also serves as a thief when the need arises. Trains the spies and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Chronicler
The head story teller of Iromar. This wolf has done their research on all things Iromar and Moladian. They can give a good history lesson or spin a tale on demand when the younger minds call for distraction. Able to captivate an audience. May even help with speeches for the Monarch when necessary. No one to train but the pups or even adults of Iromar when they have questions or curiosity about the past. This wolf may even be called upon by the Council at times. Can block steals.
Soothsayer
The seer of Iromar. This is a special rank made specifically for a wolf with "the sight." Consider her an advisor/spy of sorts for the alpha and rest of the pack. She/he can gather intel from outside or supernatural forces. You don't have to believe in the magic of this ability for any wolf with this rank will be respected as a ranked member of the pack. Can block steals.
Warriors- Members of the Iromar army. Skilled in combat and overseen by the Trooper.
Hunters- Providers for Iromar. Skilled in scavenging and hunting.
Healers- Doctors of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine for those in need.
Diplomats- Extroverts of Iromar. Skilled in politics and overall conversation.
Spies- Scouts and thieves of Iromar. Skilled in blending in and masking themselves when called upon.
Teachers- Guardians of the youth of Iromar. Skilled in defense and culture. They shape the young minds of the future.
Children-The pups of Iromar. To be cherished as they are precious for the future of the land. Shape them and mold them into something we can all be proud of.
Members- Overall pack members of Iromar. Not specialized in a particular field yet but just as important to the population.
