Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

strong in silence

It was the appeal of their relationship, the questions and hidden meanings that lingered between them at every exchange. Open and yet still mysterious, just as unique as the two of them and ever evolving as the moved along. It made her feel more alive, wondering what might come to pass every time they met and shared time together. Like a drug, she often found herself wanting more and she had begun to think he felt very much the same. She watched him eagerly as he strides forward, intrigue beginning to color her dark face as to just what he was getting up to now. Things were rarely what they appeared on the surface when it came to the two of them.

She steps forward only a pace or two before he spins around, and she lets the surprise of it color her brilliant eyes as he confirms what she already planned to do. Like a tree Nari’s roots ran deep when she chose to put them down and he would have had a harder time trying to uproot her if he had chosen. Yet the fact that he was so accepting of it sent a thrill down her spine and she watched him dance backwards. The air was almost electric between them now, the name by which he called her unknown and yet understood in the same way she was often understood without speaking.

Her jewlescent eyes sparked with excitement, crouching forward slightly as she listened to the click of his jaws as they closed around nothing more than air and yet it made her heart race. Leaping forward she is the picture of grace, her long and lithe body was built as a dancer full of agility and elegance even though she had never chosen to use it as such. She flies around her, allowing her shoulder to brush against his side before rounding sharply and coming up along his other side. Her long neck stretches out, aiming her teeth to clip the air just beside his cheek before dancing backwards just as he had done. Her tail twitches expectantly, he had started this dance and now it was up to him to continue it.
