He figured the beach would be a different and hopefully good experience for her. It is certainly a thing of wonder, and he knew the general area she stayed. As far as he knew, there was no ocean and beach there. Really though, he had no explored too much himself either. Perhaps there may have been and he did not realize it. Regardless, she had not seen Glorall’s beach, so at least he can provide that to her.
He found his tail starting to wag madly when she responded in Latin. It appears she learned rather quickly! Although he tried to learn too, he knew Latin speakers were a bit further apart. Common tongue was easy for him to run into. She would have to do more work to get to know Latin, at least he thought.
He noticed the slight hesitation from dirt to sand, and his green eyes met hers in reassurance. Perhaps she had indeed not been to a beach before. Once they reach the top of the dune and he turns to see her beautiful eyes all wide, he knows this is the first time. He grins wide and his dark tail wags. She says that she has never seen it before, and it is almost an odd thought to him since he grew up here.
More surprising to him was her reaction after that before he could even speak, with her leaning into him and reaching her head around under his chin and thanking him. He whined gently. He turned his muzzle to nudge hers gently. ”It is pleasure of mine, but this is not all, you must uh, come, see more,” he says, nudging her one more time before suddenly loping forward down the dune and dashing towards the beach, looking back for a moment to ensure she follows before stopping right when the water touches his feet for the first time. He yipped at her, moving into a slight play bow to entice her closer to the ocean’s salty water.
