Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

I knew they would help me, there was never any doubt, but hearing it had giving me less weight to bear on my chest knowing there was another pack keeping an eye and ear out for my daughter. However, knowing she wasn’t in Spirane and her scent didn’t seem to be in Taviora, that left me one with pack I had not skirted the borders of just yet for her scent. Iromar. I had just finished rounding the edges of the forest pack when I started south, a fire in my stomach ready to explode from my maw. I swore to the heavens above if my daughter was in Iromar I would burn them at the steak if she was harmed. My fur bristled at the thought, but I knew if she was there against her will I would either have to fight them all to the death over her or they might return her if I was… peaceful… Which was hard to be right now with my blood boiling as it was.

A sound of a call though made me stop cold in my tracks. At first I thought it was some figment of my imagination. After all it had been years since I heard that voice. It was as if my own anger and rage brought about the most easy to anger and possessive wolf I have ever known. Though, it was also one I called brother. Maybe not in blood, but we had always been close, me being the one to always put him in his place and attempt to moderate the relationship he had with my sister. Was he… back? I always wondered what exactly had happened to him, he never really even knew his children. I shook my head for a moment, my black nose twitching, in my single mind I didn’t even notice his familiar scent flitting about. So… I wasn’t dreaming.

I didn’t have time for this, but still my paws unbidden lead me forward towards the call. I don’t know why… curious? Perhaps even hopeful? Leonidas was a powerful wolf and to take him along would either be a great help or a great… well hindrance. So much had changed for me and Leonidas surely would have a more pernicious effect on my life than anything remotely good, but as angry as I had been with him when we last met he was still in some weird way… family.

His scent was growing stronger now and I pause, my golden fiery form looking around though I do not look angry. Not yet, he hadn’t incited my rage honestly I didn’t know HOW to feel. It is then I see him, he’s a little ways up on a hill, looking around and I half expect him to be running for his life the moment he sees me. Wouldn’t blame him I guess. ”Leonidas.” My song like voice hadn’t changed one bit even as I called out to him. There was no rage in my tones, no hate, though part of me still knew I didn’t have time for this… for HIM right now. He looked a right mess honestly and I didn’t have time to deal with his mental baggage on top of finding my little Wren, but here I was and he better make it worth it.
