The girl had some serious issues with balance, that was for sure, her constant swaying motion. Not to mention her perpetual look of surprise with those wide pale eyes. Maybe I was just that impressive, I think, or just merely surprising. Certainly I wasn't nice or kind, that was clear, and I battled with the need to sooth her but also push her away. What a conundrum. She was the only wolf I could think to go to anyways since I didn't know where Curiass was. Kahina wanted me dead which meant likely so did the other wolves of Iromar. How did I get such a bitch of a sister?

She squinted at me and I frowned at her, glancing down at my chest as if I might see some bug on me or something. What the heck was up with her? I glance back up at her suspiciously, wondering if she was doing it to try and mess with me, but she seems to shake it off. I grunt to myself - ha, yeah, she wasn't sickly alright. The weird thing is I feel a sort of... indignation from her after I spout off my stuff. "I don't need sympathy," I suddenly say sharply, ears back as I glare at her, daring her to tell me different. "I can take care of myself." Which is why I was here... sort of.

Also, I HAD given thought that it was safer to hide out in another pack. Made it easier when I wasn't the one having to watch around me, since I was deaf and all. You can stay with me, she mouths, and I give her a surprised look in turn before contemplating it. She lowers her gaze, tucking her chin, and I can tell she is embarrassed. I can FEEL it within me and I shift uncomfortably before bringing a back paw up to scratch behind my ear as I feel the skittering of a flea across it.

"Alright," I say reluctantly but inside I am rather relieved. Hadn't that been my purpose in coming here even if I didn't say so to myself? Her next words make me grin in a sort of "sure you will" look that is partly condescending. "Do you even know how to track or have any idea of where to start?" I huff in amusement, my haughty attitude back, but it kind of does warm me to her that she would offer. "Ah, 's no worry. We'll figure it out," I say on a sigh and a roll of my eyes.

"So where do you stay then, Aine? Not out here I hope. A bit too... open." I give a sort of suspicious look around us, turning my head as far as it will go and wishing I was an owl. It would certainly help when watching my back.
