It was a very strange turn events if she didn’t say so herself. She told her sister she would help her with that creepy imprint guy of hers, after all they were sisters! Undyne had been training as a guard basically her whole life! Sure, it had been for Aster and Lazarus, and part of her missed being around the shy boy more often than not, but he made it to Taviora. The scent she had crossed soon after their exodus showed that Zelda even had found him herself to take him to Taviora. Curious that was… But Undyne knew he had a fondness for her, and that the track record for Taviora was a good one. He was in safe paws for now. Her sister however… She had heard what happened to Asteraia, she had planned to go there after being forcibly kicked from Iromar, cause like hell was she staying there with that monster, but she had things she had to tend to first. Lazarus was one, and he was taken care of, then she wanted to do a little sleuthing about herself. So things fell to the wayside, she didn’t know where her sister had gotten too, but there was ONE place she guessed they both heard alot about as a kid.

Diveen. The ancestral home of angels.

Their “ancestral home” too apparently. Their father was the son of Isola, the first queen of Diveen, and their family had owned it every since basically, said their father. He told them a good deal about this and that growing up but really Undyne thought the angels sounded like a bunch of prissies. Tough prissies apparently, but still prissies regardless. Just like her dad was. Didn’t want to get TOO dirty, didn’t want THEM to get too dirty. Undyne did get to meet her grandmother once though. She had been kind and soft, but firm and taught Undyne the basics of healing way back when she was first trying to be part of the Elite guard for Aithne. That seemed like a whole other lifetime now.

So after Undyne’s little scouting mission she had come here, hoping to find her sister and the scent that met her nose made her double take not one, or two but at least four times. The wolfess bent down took the scent in, ”Wait what? Nooooo.” Took the scent in again upon the border, looked just as puzzled and confused before shaking her head and doing it over and over again until on her final time was like. ”Well if that’s NOT my sister’s scent I’ll eat my own tail.” A grin split her muzzle, but she was confused, what had happened here to make AZZY her sister QUEEN of the Angels. It wasn’t like they were close to the family, like they knew much, but they were blood and Azariah always had more lofty goals than Undyne ever had.

That being said, Undyne didn’t wait on the borders like a good little girl. If that was her sisters scent marking up these borders she was diving right on into this place, not like she owned it, but that she certainly belonged. Cause she did. This was her father’s birthplace, and now apparently her sister’s lands. She could hardly picture the frenetic black and white wolfess as a ruler, but Undyne made a promise to her sister she planned to keep, and queen or not Undyne still had planned to keep it. She was going to protect her from that weirdo imprint of hers, it was just slightly ironic that Undyne would be taking up a more ‘royal guard’ position yet again. Not that it displeased her.

The land didn’t seem to change too much since when she was last here way back, though it was still basically unknown to her the mostly black and grey wolfess went walking around trying to find her sister. Any patrols along the way she simply informed them that she was Azzy’s sister and they let her go and pointed her in the right direction. There was an almost melancholy air about it, not thrilled, but not unhappy, leaving Undyne more curious to what had happened.

She’d soon find her answers, finally more towards the center of the lands she finally spotted her sister, her black and white pelt standing out harshly against the reds and browns of the bushlands around here. ”Heyy! Azzy! What the heck is going on!” She called to the now queen of Diveen, her one good eye trained upon her sibling while her other damaged one shut while she moved forward to embrace her sibling. ”I came to uh… Keep my promise I guess, though I feel like if you are trying to hide this isn’t exactly the best method of doing it.” Undyne says with a bit of a laugh, her grin on her face though soon it was taken off. ”Seriously though… what’s going on?”
