Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Hemlock
But I couldn't see the Monster was me

His sister was gone, had been rescued even along with another but one remained. Hemlock wasn’t sure if he cared enough about Aspis to stick around for him, but there was still the question of where he would go if not Iromar? It was the only home he knew and a monster like him didn’t belong in Taviora, Spirane or Diveen. Least he didn’t think he did. He heard Asteraia was taking over by someone and Blackthorne apparently liked her, but did that mean it was just a pack of horrible wolves too? So he had a choice, pick the monsters he was growing familiar with or pick the ones he wasn’t.

He would stick to the lands he was used too, but Blackthorne wanted him to prove himself and he finally seemed to figure out that he was mute and of course he gave him a task as if teasing him. He was allowed to come and go though, so today, he left the lands. He didn’t know how to ‘bring someone’ to Iromar. Stealing seemed the most likely method, and while large for his age he was certainly not big enough to muscle any but maybe newborns to the pack and Hemlock wasn’t a monster himself. He wouldn’t be risking the lives of some newborns, though something to Lock that it would be a shoe in to gain the Dark Bringer’s favor.

No today he was out on a more innocent venture, some reason he was compelled to get near Taviora, but not in it to hunt. He had taken the scents in on the borders, though there was no evidence that any of them were still there. Perhaps they buried themselves well with in the lands to keep themselves safe. He wished he could have said hello or good-bye at least to Aspen, Whisper and Metzli one final time now that his mind had been made up. A sigh escaped his otherwise silent maw, and so with that he began to hunt something in the area. It took some time, but eventually he had managed to kill a squirrel on the ground. It wasn’t big, certainly not enough to fill him and honestly, it wasn’t what he wanted, what he craved.

He felt like his was losing his mind.

He never should have wanted it in the first place, and he shouldn’t have caved to that other wolf’s invitation to share upon the meal. That had broke him, changed him forever. He was a cannibal, he didn’t do it cause he was hungry or starving but because he was curious, he wanted it. The thought made him queasy and hungry at the same time leaving him staring blankly at his catch and rolling it around in the grass and leaves completely disinterested now. It was a problem, and it just proved all the more what a monster he actually was.
