Arturio knew that when the time came, warriors would be needed. He would not force anyone to fight, but he also knew he could not do it alone. Without a pack, it would take time to gain the numbers needed. Those who chose to step forward, he would lead them. Hopefully it would not be to their doom, but at least enough of a force to lock the demon in his cage. Permanently if it were possible.

With Spirane, his reference to have that safe haven and not need it, rather than to need it and not have it. His single ear twitched slightly at her question. He did offer whatever she wished to know. Admittedly, that was not quite what he was expecting, but it was an answer he would freely give... Even if it wasn't regarding the original conversation. It was in a leader's best interest to be aware of the world around them.
He did not know much of the old blood of Asteraia, though something told him that they were not inherently good or bad wolves, just different. Perhaps Nymeria might shed some light on that. She might even know what these old ways the Nameless One spoke of bringing back.
