Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Arturio gave a small smile. He couldn't help but do so at her words. His single ear twitched, observing Natiya quietly for a moment. He was not a wolf who was constantly calculating and observing as others were, but he knew enough to be mindful of everything. The younger female was definitely intelligent, definitely in this moment calculating. What exactly, Arturio couldn't say. He was incapable of reading minds. That didn't change the fact that the small motion of her eyes on an otherwise calm surface. Just enough to know he had touched something.

"Nothing now," Arturio corrected, "Unless your fearless leader's interests do not equate your own." The alabaster male added, on the off chance the plains held none of her attention before his departure. Maybe he could have said more, but the large wolf merely shrugged. "If I had a death wish, it would not be at the paws of the likes of you or your band of miscreants lead by the swamp demon," he said in a rather warning tone. If Arturio had the intentions to fight, it would have happened already. It was not his preferred way, but he also did not shy away from it. On that same token, thievery was also not a strong skill he possessed. Clearly, given the conversation he was in right now.

"If it is fell intentions to want to move the boy to a more... fair environment, then fell intentions I had indeed," he said while taking a bold, almost threatening step forward. His ear laid back to his skull as he watched Natiya closely for her reaction. "If it is so terrible that I move someone who would blindly follow towards a different perspective, then I am the monster you think me to be." Arturio took another step forward. It still kept a fair gap between the two of them, but it was slowly shrinking it she did not move.

He gave an ever so slight tilt of his head. The man did not know what she might think of his words. They certainly weren't a lie, but he was working on his ability to at least conceal some of what he intended or meant. Arturio tended to be rather straightforward when he spoke, so this was something he would need to use more, specially as he maintained his position in Diveen. "And yet, knowing the demon that he is, you follow. What drives you, girl? Blood, debt? Or maybe even both."
