Teza really was true to his family and of course they had all worried for their grey family member when it had been discovered he had been taken away. It might have been in retaliation, seeing as they had apparently taken a wolf of theirs. It didn’t matter anymore though, he was back! He was safe and sound and really that was what mattered most right now. Teza didn’t like stealing much for this reason, it went against the other’s desires yet there wasn’t much he could to to prevent his brother from enjoying the trade he had taken up or Zelda’s other thieves, assassins and spies from doing what they they were supposed to to to make sure Taviora had the information to keep them safe and moving. Even more so since he had seen the wolf Blackthorne with his own eyes and saw how he acted and ruled. Leaving him be of course was for the best but the Guardian Angel didn’t feel too great about leaving Aspis there with him.

Still when Teza pulled back and asked what they had wanted with him he was a bit surprised when he had said he had never been greeted even by the thief that had stolen him. ”That is… very strange. You were not the only one they targeted from Taviora either. The same day you were taken they had attempted to take another. We don’t know why they picked you too in particular, you both are not even similar.” Teza mused slightly a frown upon his muzzle. Between Shem being stolen to Asteraia and Iromar’s situation Teza did indeed think that Shem had been right. They experienced the calm before the storm the last they met.

The gold and brown male was happy to hear at least that they seemed reserved he guessed. Teza gave a dip of his head in agreement when he said that they should strengthen patrolls, ”Believe me I started going much more frequently I feel guilty that I couldn’t have stopped them the first time, so I’m doing my very best to make sure it doesn’t happen again. To anyone.” Teza said resolutely. It was more than just because he was now a Champion too. It had to do with keeping everyone safe and he would have done it with or without his new title. After all ranks hardly mattered to him, he just wanted to help when he could and where he could.

The last little bit of information though was… interesting. ”You want to go back? I mean, if that’s what you want to do, I can go with you, little umm… muscle I guess, never hurts.” He said offering a smile from his blocky muzzle, mismatched eyes meeting Shem’s copper ones. He wasn’t sure he would be any good at well… negotiating, certainly not like how Zelda had but if Shem wanted to go and have a poke around Teza could go as well. ”Though… it might be best to wait until they have whoever it is here back. Apparently someone had stolen someone that belongs there? Or supposed to. I’m not sure entirely, but it’s possible they could have been retaliating.” Teza explained to Shem they had been stolen fairly close together time wise… but the female definitely was taken before Shem.
