The Grotto
Disaster has struck!

She was so confident when she shrugged and then said that she was sure and that was that. No explanation. No need to prove her point. Her word was final. Triton tilted his head. "Wow." It was all he could think of to say. He wondered what his own parents would think of her stories of wolves getting lost in the grotto. Would Thor or Inanna agree? He sometimes felt like his parents weren't afraid of anything. Inanna was a force to be reckoned with. His father reminded him of that all the time when he thought about disobeying her. And Thor was so strong and noble. He only wanted to do good by the pack and Eden. They'd probably be more upset about him being in the grotto to begin with though. She gave him some tips, telling him not to look at the lighter parts. "Oh okay. Don't look at the light....shoot." He called out and cringed as he did just that while trotting past a place where the light came through cracks in the ceiling. He let out a heavy sigh. "Okay, for real this time. Don't look at the...crap!" He cried out in frustration as they walked by another place where the light trickled in and out of instinct, thinking maybe he saw a shadow or something, he looked toward the light. "It's so hard though! How do you do it?" He scowled. He followed her around a corner, ears pricked as she brought up being lucky but her voice trailed off. "What, what?" He called out, his eyes wide as he practically begged for her to finish her sentence and tell him what would make them lucky. He looked around and paused as they entered the cave. "Oh...wow." He whispered as he looked around. Then he saw the glowing things she was looking at and he gasped, moving in closer at a stalking pace, afraid he would scare them or something. "What are....those?!" He whispered in excitement as he looked at her. Triton male.1 year old.35' 140#.born to Inanna x Thor.bound to none.mated to none.father to none.Glorall Background @ AshenSorrow (Deviantart) |
