This past year had seemed to...well, drag on. He'd found his imprint--shocker. But he hadn't quiet settled in on the idea that he was now tied for life to someone, not that he wished to have someone else, that is. He just...was hesitant. Amber seemed set in her gypsy ways, whereas he was set in living in the pack. He didn't have a set role, and that was by far okay with him because lets face it, he wasn't the best at anything, at all. He spent his days with what niece of his still lived in Spirane, until her father had taken her with him--Asteraia had stolen him and he didn't want Reine without a parent to keep her safe. Berwyn understood that--But she was his niece, and he missed her dearly already.

But then Cadeyrn spilled the beans, he had two children, a boy and a girl, he watched from afar because he knew the mother wouldn't want him around. That--that was an interesting idea. Cade had messed up to the point of the mother not wanting him around, somehow he'd get that story out of him, he just knew it. But when, Berwyn had no idea.

Standing in the small clearing, the smell of the fires in Diveen were burning his nose. The westward wind was bringing the acrid smell in the air and he hated the way it lingered on his coat. The white male looked to the east, where you could barely see the tendrils of smoke that rose from there. He hoped those who lived there were safe, not that he knew anyone who called that home, but he was not one to wish ill on anyone. The mountains were blocking them from the rainfall that plagued Tavoria, and he was glad for that, it left the air crisp and bright, as autumn should be.

What he was sitting waiting for, he had no idea. He had no true friends, not like he had sought anyone out or not, but yeah, he was more of a loner than anything. Suppose maybe that's time to change?
