Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

: Ame :
with every rain comes a fresh breath of life

Ame had no idea the high praises his friend had given him mentally. All he knew was he and Halcyon were different wolves. Halcyon was very much the pack wolf, the leader, and Ame never was any of those things. He was always the follower, the helper, and now just the loner trying to do right by nature. Just because they were different didn’t mean Ame didn’t think Halcyon deserved any less praise for his accomplishments. He was an alpha of a pack for four years, that was no small feat. That and he had the self knowledge of knowing that perhaps it could do better with someone else. The humility to let it go for the greater good of the wolves that lived there. That he wasn’t ready when he was Iromar’s alpha for a short time. Ame respected that he didn't’ just let the power go to his head, that he knew someone could do better than him. They weren’t failures they were good things to know about yourself and a good quality to have. ”You are smart, Hal, you are a good wolf. This One is this way because This One constantly worries and thinks about every little thing that can and will go wrong. It is because of This One’s past very nervous nature, and still This One struggles to be as social as you are. All wolves are different, are built different, do not forget that.”

Ame though because of his worries that anything could and would go wrong had thought about where they needed to go. Halcyon didn’t disagree though, and had some very interesting information for Ame, his head tilted and curiosity filled him slightly. Like Halcyon, Ame had thought about going to Diveen, though again the impending discipline that would come from his father did deter him slightly… The distance was also pretty far, but Ame didn’t worry about wolves catching him easily unless they were built somehow even more leggy than he and Halcyon had been. Still apparently Zelda had met with Halcyon as well. ”The Guardian of Taviora? Where does she fit in all this?” Ame was not aware that they were related, nor that she had rescued his children, but if she was also going against Blackthorne as well that was yet another place they could go. However, his brain once again drifted to Spirane. ”Though you are not wrong… if that’s the case Diveen would be a good place to go, but.” He trailed off giving a little ‘hmm’ of thought. Going silent while Halcyon explained what he found on his many attempts.

Stealth did seem to be the best approach to all of this, but one screw up as well and they would have a whole pack on their paws. A distraction… what thing could be a good enough distraction for an entire pack? Or at least a good number of pack members. A challenge? He doubted a simple member call would be enough though Ame could and would fit the bill. He knew none of the faces in Iromar that he was aware, he had been a loner for almost his whole life now, so no scent of any pack was prevalent in his coat. ”This One has a friend in Spirane. They might take us as well, it is closer to the entry point you are talking about… and, well This One should probably be the distraction if we use one. They do not know This One. This One might even be able to infiltrate the pack before we do this to ensure your safety.” He said pondering most of it out loud, but it seemed to make sense Ame might even be able to find a way to get in deeper and talk to Aspis beforehand so they could work out something more… concrete.

If Halcyon was trying to keep Ame safe, he was getting probably the furthest thing from. Of course that would take a lot of time, something Ame wasn’t sure they had. ”It would take time though. However, all safer approaches will take time, that would be the safest, but the longest. I don’t know how long it would take me to earn trust enough to secure my place there.” He says with a sigh. There were a lot of options. Going from head long charges to attempting to sneak in from the beach, to complete infiltration. Ame didn’t know how good he would be as an actor, but would he need to act? He could just be himself and act normal among them, though his good, polite nature might not fit in from what he was understanding about these wolves.

”Let This One go to Spirane and see what This One can figure out there. This One will not be long. Then, when This One returns, we can talk about all options available after thinking it through” He said, looking in the direction of the Mountain pack. He wanted to be swift for Halcyon, but them being dead didn’t help anyone. Not his son or them, or Moladion. Ame wasn’t going to commit suicide immediately, and it was good to explore all their options before diving head first into this.
