I wanted to have some sort of adventure while I had the chance, it wasn't like my sister was hanging around much, neither of them. Atallah had dissappeared along with mom, and Nivi had gone with her father, so all in all, it was just me, and I was getting really tired of playing by myself, or heck, with my uncles. My dad could only do so much for me. He tried his best, he really did. I felt like what I was living was far from an atypical life, mom and siblings gone, a father who has other kids, just...not normal. Meaning I felt out of sorts, and wanting to have that bond with someone, I hoped I would become fast friends with Dandelion. Partially because Dandelion was from Spirane! That meant I would have someone to play with at all times!
I looked back towards Dandelion as she spoke, and then my eyes followed the direction she was nodding too, and I felt my eyes go wide at the sight of the deer. They...Were....huge. Ooh my word. I looked back at her with a startled expression crossing my face, unease creasing it. While the idea was fun, I'd only chased small bunnies, never something so large that could run so fast. I don't think I'd be able to keep up, like...at all. But then Dandelion spoke of a race, and that idea was sooo much more appealing. "OOOOOH! Lets race. I don't think I have the uumph to chase a deer for long!" I grinned at the girl, lifting to a seated position besider her. Looking towards the treeline, trying to gauge how far it was, I looked back to her. "Probably should get down to the ground to start though...right?"
The last words were spoken on a laugh and I moved a little, not enough to put myself down to the ground, but to make it to where I would easily be able to if she wanted to start from down there, but at the same time, if she wanted to start from up here, I wanted to gauge how far down the jump would be to begin the race.
