Oh she shouldn’t tempt fate like this, but how could she resist? She saw the smoke rising from within Asteraia of course, smelled the smoke in the air and she just felt so absolutely thrilled with the prospect of them being distracted by the fire. She wondered if the previous Alpha now still lived, still breathed even in that burning land? Was he dead? He would have been for sure if Kattari just had a few more moments to finish him off, but alas, she had be run off and she was no fool to hang around while a swarm of those angels descended upon her like that. They were so angry and now she could only picture the further dismay they must be in. A shame. She didn’t hate them, hardly. They had lots of good wolves with hearts that would be fitting to add to her power. It was respect for them really that made her keep being drawn to them like that. That and… alpha hearts were just so tempting. They were the strongest in Moladion after all, owning lands and protecting them. Even her current Queen’s was, but Kattari had a little attachment beyond just wanting to eat hearts that protected Opal from her getting into skirmishes with Kattari. That and Kattari was starting to learn how useful being in a pack could be.

Still she was curious about the destruction of the brushland packs, and with them very much probably looking inward right now she took some time to sneak out and enjoy a little walk. Since the fight in the summer her wounds had healed a considerable amount. There were still some scars and scabbing at deeper points but over all Kattari was nearly right as rain. Another bonus of the pack was it had healers. She had recovered notably faster than she usually did when she got in a fight like the one she just had. It seemed she wasn’t the only one out here enjoying the show though it seemed.

Her eyes spotted a male, and he looked… familiar? Maybe? Her eyes ran over his form looking at his colors more than anything. Yes, he was and did, he looked like the Past Dread father in a way, perhaps he was one of those children that he and that woman had before they were kicked off the throne of Asteraia by Tobias and the Monster. Kattari grinned, this was all becoming so fascinating the more time that went on. Of course, it was an assumption, thus far just seemed so familiar really. After all she never met any of their youngest brood, and had only seen their oldest running around for a time before they all scattered.

”Well hello there, you look like your out and about with a purpose.” Her tones were light, almost friendly sounding, if it wasn’t for her wounds and otherwise imposing appearance she probably could be mistaken for nice. The strawberry and white female though looked him over once or twice, sizing him up, and her own physical condition. Was she in shape to do this today? Or was she just scouting out a potential future wolf to take the heart of? Who knows? She was excited to find out.
