Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Return to Lunar Children

In the land of Gods and monsters;

Everyday he worried about her. Wondered if he made the right choice by leaving her behind. Worried about her safety but knowing almost instinctively that she would care for and defend herself even if he were to mention it. He knew had he spoken his worries aloud, she would have scoffed and those fierce glowing eyes of red would have burned into his with distain. Though their bond was still new and young, this much he knew of her. But still, he should have said something to her, told her? No, she would have come with him and he would have found it hard to concentrate on the task at hand. He could not devote his time and attention into tracking and helping the pack kill the rouge bear with his Leilani there... he would be too worried about her and distraction was never a good thing in that situation. Still, his soul chided him. He should have told her.

He watches her, his brilliant yellow gold eyes studying her slim muzzle for some semblance of a smile. Hell, he would be excited for even a grin at this point... but he knew it was perhaps too much to ask for. He did leave without a word. Twin sonars droop as once again he chides himself for hoping for that much. Truthfully he knew he should be grateful she wasn't bristled with anger and sneering at his very sight. His usually high tail drops as well, waving just barely at his haunches as he cautiously moves into place beside her. His place.

A soft smile tugs at his lips as he lets his brilliant multifaceted eyes roam over her lithe figure, taking in each curve and contour of her frame and comparing it to the image he had already saved up. She appeared healthy, slim, but well fed and that at least gave him a small bit of relief. Still his soul remarked that it was no excuse.

She turns to him now and his ears perk up, yellow eyes with their small sliver of green meeting the fire eyes of her own as she speaks. His heart lurched. Her words were plain and simple... but they were words at least and not a straight up ' hey screw you get lost! ' . That he wasn't sure he could handle though gods knew he deserved it. A heavy sigh escapes his parted lips now as the large black wolf lets his proud head dip apologetically towards her. "Yes, though no doubt you probably wish otherwise." he begins, his words for once soft in delivery as if he were almost afraid to speak them aloud. "I am sorry for leaving so suddenly...... there were matters I had to handle" he finishes, letting his brushy black tail thump slowly against the rocks... testing the waters between them. He had made such progress with her before, she even seemed to accept him... to let him touch her but he dare not attempt it yet... though in his very soul it is all he wants to do. Touch her, reassure himself that she is indeed alive and well... not just a ghost of his memories.
