I have so many characters to provide so much opportunity tbh lmfao
First off, my territory owner Mariael is Queen of the Bay and is currently attempting to stake her monarch over the entirety of Tinuvel (though unbeknownst to her, her neighbor in the Inlet is only playing nice and doesn't actually agree she should be queen of the entirety of Tinuvel).
SO. The Bay. The Bay herd is basically a large family system that's intended to be made-up of multiple herds who all follow Mariael's guidance and keep each other safe in an island like Tinuvel.
I have my strong young queen Mariael who kind of gets an adrenaline rush when things are going down - she actually, inside, doesn't like long periods of peace because they make her feel uneasy.
Her brother, Zevulun, is there as well. Zevulun is a ladies man... he literally falls for every mare he meets.. he just thinks they're all so gorgeous and amazing. He does NOT understand the male-obsession with using them as "trinkets" or acting as if they don't have a say in their freedom - he was practically raised by his very strong-willed, queen sister so it seems so foreign to him that a stallion would treat a mare as anything less than their equal. Zevulun's always down for some good flirting ;) even if it doesn't lead to anything.
I've also got Mariael's and Zevulun's half-sister, Maziel at the Bay. She's sweet and compassionate, but she doesn't leave the Bay without a "guide" of sorts because she was lost to the stormy ocean when she was a foal and now the ocean terrifies her.
This upcoming spring season (one month!) I've got a couple babes being born in the Bay, but their story will take a little while to develop.
MOVING ON!
I have Oswin, the Prime Minister of the Peak. Oswin was just recently named Prime Minister after being the General for a little while. She's changing the way the Peak deals with things now that mares can lead territories - she wants the Peak to be there to stand up for ANYONE whose being oppressed... so even if a mare is holding a stallion against his will, Oswin wants the Peak to be an option for those who are held against their will regardless of gender. She's looking to fill the Peak's ranks, but she's also there to kick ass anytime she thinks someone is being pushed around.
Her daughter, Klara, is turning two this upcoming spring and will probably hang around at the Peak for awhile, being a diplomat who visits the islands on behalf of the Peak and takes any rumors or anything she learns back to her mother.
I have crazy ol' Psychedelic. After his recent plan to lay low and pretend he isn't an evil mare-beater, force-breeder went awry (his true identity was revealed), he's currently on a bit of an evil bender lmao He's very sassy, he likes picking on mares... he's basically going to start raiding and fighting and just being a trouble-maker so if you need someone to pepper in the drama, he's your guy!
I've got a few other characters who are kinda involved in their own thing, but depending on where your new character pops up she may have an opportunity to meet them! I've got Psych's crazy daughter Talya in the Forest - she's basically a child in her mind and will probably always be that way. She has a daughter, Sabra, who has HORRIBLE allergies and will one day figure out her allergies aren't as bad in certain seasons, on certain islands, etc. Uhmm... my girl Rosheen is going to be hanging out in the Prairie... I've got a few desert ponies off in Salem... and I think that's everyone?
