While Ame had found his purpose and bloomed into the strong wolf he was today, his time at the ball had certainly caused him a little bit of anxiety. It seemed he still wasn’t too great around large groups of wolves, but might also had been further kept from his many years spent as a loner now. He only saw a few wolves regularly, and even those wolves were in and out with him as they traveled around. Halcyon and Jackson being the main two that kept him company out in the freelands, that was until Halcyon had taken over a pack, though Ame always knew his friend was more a social wolf than he was. Just he always seemed to get the bad luck of the world and had to carry that on his shoulders since they were young children.

He shook the thoughts of his friends, it wasn’t just that though, he still had to figure out his somewhat anomalous feelings and reasons for why he was here even. He was torn about telling her what he was going to do, asking her for aid in it or not bringing it up all together. It wasn't really her business to be dragged into and get her into trouble with. Then again he could also leave that up to her. He would not begrudge her for telling him no after all, it made perfect since to do so already. Her quiet, soft tones were a little unexpected though too causing him to blink a little in surprise at their genuine tones as she stepped closer to him. He shifted slightly feeling more shocked that she was worried about him. All the things she probably could worry about seeing as she was an alpha and she had been concerned for him out there with the change in packs and trouble brewing about lately. Perhaps it was unavoidable then that the topic come up at all. He was happier for it he supposed.

”This one has been fine. Though there has been many scents in a clamour all over the land and free wolves are being taken more frequently than ever.” He explained shaking his head slightly. ”This one will be helping his friend soon in retrieving his child from Iromar. It seems Iromar had been taken over by the use of hostages.” Ame told her his blue and soft yellow eyes meeting her own to see what reaction she might have to that information. It wasn’t a test, but a gauge on what he thought he should ask or tell her from here.

”Has Iromar given you any trouble? How have you been here?” He asked just wanting to see, but also it would add onto the drive that maybe he should try even harder to demoralize them in such a way that they won’t think to leave their little packland. He knew packs weren’t exactly off bounds, but tended to avoid trouble with other packs. Though he recalled what Halcyon had said, that Diveen and Iromar were already at odds, and Taviora had some cards to play in all of this too. He wondered if Spirane did as well or if they avoided trouble with Iromar so far, or the other packs for that matter.
