Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She seemed thoughtful but amused when he told her that Triton was so honest and unable to lie to his own mother. He figured most wolves would find it appealing for their child not to be able to tell a lie. He tried to see the positive sides of it most of the time. He just wished he could teach Triton just to think of it as boosting Inanna’s ego or something instead of lying. He chuckled at her remark. “Yeah, i guess so.”

With the smooth way she talked, he doubted she was very sraightforward most of the time. Not that he thought her a liar or anything. She just had that smooth honey voice that seemed to purr in all the right places, like she was used to crawling under someone’s skin to get what she wants. A diplomat or something would be something she’s good at, he was sure.

She gave him some advice, telling him to get Triton working toward something and he nodded. “If only he would tell me what hes interested in learning. He’s so all over the place, i cant pinpoint what he wants to do.” He chuckled again. Then she offered to teach him and he pricked his ears, smiling. “I’m sure he’d like that better than learning from his own parents. Thank you, that would be great.”
