She is tall and has lean yet feminine muscle. She has pluming of the tail and her fur seems almost feathery, and really soft, under that is feminine athletic muscle. Her eyes are expressive and slightly larger than the average, and she has delicate and refined facial features, though her body structure can also be depicted this way. Her base coat is a soft pure white and very stunning to look at, in direct sunlight it almost seems to take a slight light orangey blonde hue that looks like gold but otherwise is unmistakable for anything but white. Charcoal black dips the end of her tail as if it had been dipped into an ink well, as well as her ears are tipped and framed in this same charcoal black. Fox like deep russet red travels along her back, starting after the shoulders and fading back into white at her haunches, more russet on the outsides more almost orangeish russet hued on the insides of the stripe. A russet brindle marking starts at her upper haunch and curves forward almost in a swirled way to curl in and stop at her shoulders, this marking present on both sides. Around her eyes is a cinnamon, like red eyeliner, and a little bit under that is a fox russet line under the lower eye, that flares out before fading back into white.
Amaterasu is outgoing, playful, kind and gentle, always willing to lend a paw to those in need of help, but is also unafraid to show her opinion on pretty much everything. She is intelligent, and can see through lies, it would be very hard to pull wool over her eyes. She is sensitive and can be easily offended about certain personal things, and can get those moments where she's full of fire and spice.

Amaterasu has come from lands beyond Blossom, where a severe disease she was somehow immune to swept through her homelands, killing off most of the wolf population before her eyes, even as she tried in vain to find the correct herbs to make a cure with. After her journeying partner and best friend finally breathed his last to this deadly disease she ran for months on end, the disease eventually being washed from her fur, and that is how she came to Blossom.
