Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Eira sat for a moment. The cool water was actually comforting at times. It made her glad that her big brother had taught her and Badar to swim. She could go deeper into the ocean if she wanted, but had also been warned to not go out too far if she was by herself. That meant she wasn't strong enough to get to the isle just yet. Maybe one day she would. That would turn into quite the adventure. Her tail swished in the water as she watched Triton.

So he wasn't family. Hm... Eira thought that was a little odd, but then again, it was a pack. Every wolf wouldn't necessarily be family. "I think so? There's mother and father... And Eva, Badar, and Zion... And I met big brother Erebos," she said thoughtfully, trying to recall her own parents names. Thor and Samia didn't sound familiar. "Oh, Eden is father!" she finally added with a grin and hoping to her feet.

But those were really the only wolves she knew. And of course that mean, annoying girl she and her brother had met. Eira bounded a bit closer, still grinning. "Do you want to play?" she said with a tilt of her head. Maybe Triton would be willing to play. After all, he didn't seemed to mind her itching burst, so he couldn't be all bad.
