Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

In all her life, Sera wasn’t sure she’d had a more eventful day. She’d returned from her final attempt to find her brother beyond Moladion and had come home with nothing to show for her various excursions. Sad yet also relieved, she’d paid a visit to one of her siblings in Taviora and had chatted with her brother-in-law. Feeling unburdened, she’d decided that a good frolick was in order. Perhaps some would find her rejoicing distasteful given the circumstances, but she’d spent years trying to find Forfax without even a little bit of success. Sure, she was sad that he was gone, always would be, but now she could finally let go and focus on her life in Moladion. And wouldn’t you know, just as soon as she’d let go she’d found him! The other half of her soul. She’d not even made it out of the forest before he’d appeared! Sometimes she wondered about Fate. How much did it really know? Surely enough to place her imprint in the very stream that she’d been splashing in.

Apparently Ravenwing had been just as dumbfounded by Fate’s humor because his legs had given out and he’d toppled into the water with her. Ravenwing. In all truth he could’ve been named Stick and she would still adore him. Never had another wolf been so instantly enamored with her. It more than enough to stroke her Angel pride but it was more than that. When they’d touched there had been an undeniable sense of completion. All the little things ceased to matter; in fact she hadn’t really noticed the little things at first. Even now that she was aware of the fact that he was shorter than her she still didn’t care. He was handsome and sweet and he thought she was divine. Even now, thinking of it made her giggle, but the warm happy feelings didn’t remain.

In the dead of the night, Ravenwing had been stolen from her, before she could even introduce him to Haziel! It was unthinkable and she was beyond irritated or annoyed, she was upset. It had taken her fourteen years to find her imprint and then mere hours later, he was gone! It was unacceptable! She’d tracked the thief as far as she could but lost track in the fields that morning. Too many wolves crossing paths and Raven’s scent still too new to her. Cursing Fate and her irony, Seraphina turned tail to Glorall and had immediately sought out Haziel. He would know what to do better than anyone. When she finally saw him, she slowed her approach and stretched out her head, sliding her cheek against his. She still carried traces of Ravenwing’s scent but not nearly enough for her liking.

”I’m back!” She chirped softly, putting aside her anxiety long enough to properly greet her brother. She’d not seen him in far too long and as impulsive as she was, she wasn’t about to bombard him immediately with demands for help, as much as she wanted to. ”I tried to find Forfax again. I went North and then West. I am finally convinced that he does not wish to be found.” Perhaps one day FOrfax would decide to come home, but Sera had come to the conclusion that he’d decided to make a new home for himself away from Moladion and in her recent travels had reconciled herself to that. But again, she couldn’t focus on stories for two long as she was practically vibrating with irritation and nervous energy. In an attempt to settle herself, Sera pressed closer to Haziel and nibbled at the thicker fur over his shoulder.
