Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

We desire what we can't have

He comes to me, after my visit with mother, and as I see him coming he seems rather amused. No doubt he knows a thing or two about what I have been up to. Of course, not all of it. He doesn’t know much of what I have done. Yet he should know that I am not one to really...mess with in Iromar right now. Glorall and Iromar are neighbors. It is only right to know what is going on to some extent. Eden would not be a good alpha if he didn’t keep tabs on everyone around him.

”Frater,” I respond to brother as such, nodding my head ever so slightly at his greeting. A smirk of my own crossed my features as he mentions how Iromar does not have a different name. I stretch a bit upwards and roll my neck a bit, tilting my head gently. ”Ah, I just haven’t decided what name would fit. What do you think? Lemures Lustrum? (Swamp of Ghosts)” I ask considering that I have all the words of the world. Unfortunately, I am not exactly...in the right position to rename it completely, but I can have my fun.

”Ah, yes, mother. I can never forget her. Seems she would rather stay here with you than come to me. Pity,” I say, although half teasing in my voice. I did not come here to ask mother to stay with me. A visit, perhaps, but not stay. Mother offered me more information than I bargained for though. A nice thing indeed, and the curiosity begins to shine in my poison green eyes.

”She tells me you had even more children, yet, she seemed less...pleased than she normally would be,” I state, attempting to observe his face as I continue on. ”There seems to be...questions of blood, regarding some these ones, is that true?” I asked, nothing malicious. My voice is somewhat sweet even. I was really more curious about this woman that had ensnared my brother and yet, perhaps, bred with another as well. This is why females are indeed the superior of the sexes. The female gets to choose life- the male can only hope. A shame really, I rather like my brother. If only he was a woman.

”Regardless, I had wanted to see how my dearest of brothers was doing these days,” I say with a grin. I was not here because of Thorne or any of his own wants. I was here for me, and I was going to make this rather...clear.
