Voters say Trump in charge of DC

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 46% of Likely U.S. Voters believe President Trump is setting the agenda in Washington, D.C., these days, up slightly from 42% in January. In second is the national media, with 17% who think reporters call the shots. The GOP-led Congress and the Democratic opposition are now practically tied for third, with 11% and 10%, respectively, believing they are in charge. Another 16% are not sure.

The survey of 1,000 Likely U.S. Voters was conducted on May 2-3, 2018, by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.
