I have my beasts.” It was a very true statement despite how different it could be interpreted. Sekhmet did know of love and affection but perhaps not the same as most others. She had no mate or imprint and thus no male held that place, at least not at this time.
While she refused to turn her back to the males she didn’t find it entirely necessary to stay. “You may speak. Before I leave, any more questions?” Sekhmet would wait to see what could be gained from any further inquiries from the pair. If nothing else she was preparing to leave if nothing else could be gained from this meeting. On the other hand, if she showed them some forum of goodwill perhaps it would be something to entice them into seeking to make Asteraia their home as well. What leader would she be if she did not attempt to leave a decent impression on them?
