Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Eira hopped forward with as big as splash as she could muster while Triton asked what she wanted to be when she grew up. The brown and white girl tilted her head thoughtfully. "Maybe I can learn everything and be a good leader like him or a good adviser like mother," she said excitedly. Her mother didn't speak, but there was much to be said of the mute Valkyrie that was her mother. Nari was an incredible wolf, and not just because she was her mother. She was utterly trusted by her father in every way from what she could tell.

Her mis-matched eyes glittered with glee as her newfound friend complained about the cold water. It was soothing to her, her itching less problematic even with the chill. When she successfully got it tail, Eira shrieked with glee. "Gotcha!" she said with a mischievous grin. Let him be soaking wet! The water wasn't that cold in her mind.

She bounded closer to the shore, an attempt to be considerate to her larger playmate. Eira laughed as Triton swatted water at her. "Can't catch me!" she shouted, running away from him and beginning the game of chase along the shoreline.
