I saw a mountain lion this morning, near the West Hartford reservoir on Rt 4, Farmington Ave. It was 7am, in the woods, 40 feet off the main road. It stared at me for several seconds, until a car went by and it got spooked, and it darted off deeper into the woods. I was watching it to make sure it wasn't a very large bobcat, and when it came into full view I saw it's size (60-70 pounds) the beige coat and long tail. What a treat... Replies:
