Just a short trip. Sekhmet would take it easy on her heel but she needed to act quickly, the male already had several hours on her. There was much to discuss with the Apep. Her brother, she was certain, would manage things just fine without her there. So she took to the land in the evening twilight attempting to navigate putting the least amount of pressure on her heel that she could manage, it wasn’t much damage but she preferred to alleviate as much of the sting as she could when navigating, in Iromar she wouldn’t have such luxury to nurture a wound as she wasn’t one to show weakness, to begin with.
It would be dawn before she actually made it into Iromar. The mist and stench of the bog weren’t all too pleasurable but who was she to question the Apep’s brooding ground? Still, there was something that spoke to the snake to have him claim it. Perhaps she would ask him today if time was made for general chat, though the conviction of pursuing the white and russet male and ending his life, well it was a strong desire, to say the least. Given their history, she could assume that he would be a useful ally or at the very least he could aid in locating the male for her.
With the sun beginning to rise in the east, Sekhmet made her way into the Apep’s territory. Never too deep, she had some respect for the male after all but she liked to keep her comings and goings very limited to the outsiders. A low growl reverberated in her chest, much like a greeting almost akin to a chuffing sound to the attempt at one. It was here she would wait for her, conniving, companion. Though an ally she never let her guard down when it came to trampling through the sakes home.
