Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She could never tire of their time together. Every day was a new adventure and it was that much more exciting with Aeon by her side. She knew in some things, they were very different but she wouldn’t have it any other way. She felt like they balanced each other, ying and yang. She asked about the clams, watching them in fascination as they burrowed back into the dirt. She glanced up as Aeon tried to explain, saying their whole family was all in the dirt too, like one giant den. She scrunched up her face, her brows furrowed as she tried to understand. She guessed in a way she could see that. He said they didn’t need air and she gasped, leaning back down to look at them.

“Wow, thats so cool! We could burrow under sand too if we didn’t need air to breathe!” She danced in her excitement at all the possibilities. Of course, none of them would ever happen since they did in fact need air. But then he mentioned the seagulls and she lifted her head, thoroughly distracted. Birds were something she knew something about and they were crazy fun to chase! She ran at the birds, barking her head off and inviting Aeon along with her. Her eyes lit up at the laughter from his lips as he joined her. The birds flew up, chattering and she laughed harder. “They sound so unhappy with us!” She yelled over to Aeon, giggling steadily.

But then they came right back down and she had to turn on her heels to give chase again. She could never tire of this! She saw the flash of feathers to her left and turned her head just as Aeon brought a bird to the ground. She wasnt exactly trying to catch them but she was impressed by his skill, watching him kill the bird. At least he didn’t make it suffer. She watched with wide eyes, finally taking a small step toward him. But then he looked up and his eyes were so shiny with excitement that she only felt her heart swell alongside him. He asked if she wanted to eat and she smiled and nodded. “I’d be honored. But you get first bite since it was your kill.” She smirked, watching him, her tail thumping the ground in happiness.
