Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She splashed up more water toward him and he jumped back with a yelp of surprise, though his ears trained back forward to hear her as she spoke of being either a leader or an adviser like her parents. He grinned. “That’s cool. Every leader needs advising. I bet you’d be great at both!” He smirked. She seemed happy enough with how her parents got along. He wondered if they were as loving around each other as his own parents. But he was successfully distracted when she jumped on his tail and got it wet. He shivered and darted out of reach, hearing her laughing voice behind him. He laughed too but his teeth were chattering. He tried to stop, not wanting to seem weak around her.

She ran closer to the sand and he felt relief, thinking they might be running on dry land soon. She taunted him to catch her and he laughed. “Bet i can!” He called out as he darted after her. He pushed his legs as fast as he could, aiming to bump his nose into her flanks if he got close enough. He felt himself gaining and he barked in excitement, right before he tripped over his own feet and went rolling across the sand. When he finally stopped, he sat up and shook his head to clear it before he stood and shook. Then he took off after her again. “Not losing me that easy!”
