Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Elohim couldn't help himself. Asriel was a curiosity to him - born to Zeltzin of Taviora, brother to a queen, son of a king and a bastard just like Elohim too. It was his differences and similarity that interested Elohim in a time where he was looking for excuses to avoid the madness of politics. Closer to home, he supposed. Worrying about such trivial things shrank his world down - comfortable, even. In a way, maybe he felt like he owed it to Ehiyeh and even Adonai - bring family closer, together, or whatever.

Likely, he had just caught sight of Asriel leaving Glorall at the perfect time. He had nothing else to do - well, he had plenty that he was avoiding to do - so why not?

His silence in following had been for no other purpose than to learn more about Asriel. Where was he going? Looking for something? Somebody? He supposed that might make sense - his mother had been attacked and his sister had been murdered all those years ago. He couldn't help but stifle a laugh to himself as he broke the tree line and entered the fields some distance behind his younger brother. If there was ever a curse in their blood, it was certainly from their father's side, no? Every one of them dotted with misfortune. Couldn't quite cull that, could you father?

He'd gotten tired of just following though and so, with a decisive flick of his tail, he loped forward and barked out for his younger brother. How would he be received by his younger sibings anyway? He hadn't exactly been very approachable - but then again, Asriel seemed just as aloof. In any case, he kept a distance even as he moved to his brother's side. Respectful distance. He was here to make some good company, after all. "On the search for something, brother?" Though, he had to admit, it did feel strange to call any other wolf beyond Erebos brother.
