Matianak continued through the forest, musing through her thoughts. Her steps did not falter when the sound of another wolf rustled in the trees. The woman's ears twitched slightly. It was the only initial acknowledgement of his presence as he watched through the trees. Curious beast, she thought with a smile. A plains wolf no less! This was actually a bit exciting. Did this one share the same tastes that Ripper did? That in and of itself was a curious notion.

She maintained her current path, casting a side-long glance towards Kweku. It was more then enough for her pale blue eyes to glimpse enough of him to bring a smile to her face while she listened to him speak. "I pride myself in being recognizable to those I wish to remember me," she said with a flick of her tail. The Asteraian wolves were interesting, that made her take no issue in them approaching her... Provided they were not trying to make a meal of her.

Matianak looked his way again, more fully as he drifted along his own path. Well, wasn't he just a fine specimen of wolf. Ripper was as well. Asteraia seemed to be home to such beasts and behemoths. Even the white male who reigned before was a formidably sized brute. The grey female herself was tall and lithe. Her long legs easily kept their stride. She couldn't help but look him over like a piece of meat, not that she was entirely mad about that line of thinking either. "Are all the wolves of Asteraia so.. formidable, or just the men?" she inquired with a bit of teasing.
