Hi, I was staff-grade doctor in UK for 5 yrs. My monthly earnings with on-calls roamed around 2950-3200 £/month. I left UK one and half yr ago, i am back in India now working as an Assistant Professor. I have a private practice, it was'nt very well in the first 6 months. It has now picked up and i can easily w/o tiring myself earn 2.5-3.0 lakhs/month from private sector only. I feels very pleased as i am almost earning the same as in UK, i am working as an Assistant Professor in my own country with very good quality schooling for children. I do'nt have any on-calls & I have a developing private practice. Replies:
