Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

We desire what we can't have

Eden considers the name but then brushed it aside saying they would remember the dead over me. I laugh quite directly with a smirk on my pink lips. ”They will know who put the ghosts there,” I say with my laugh fading some. He does not know of what I have...done in my spare time as of late, but do I really know what he does? Yet he is more in the...public eye, and I guess I have thrust myself into such light as of late.

I watch him carefully as he speaks on the subject of the children with Nari. I do not know much other than what mother told me- but mother knows many things. I do not doubt her knowledge, and it appears that Eden does not doubt her either. I keep a rather straight face at this point with my eyes stuck on his like glue.

”Interesting,” I say simply. ”You are willing to raise those that may not be yours? Is the other blood worthy?” I ask, my voice lacking any queue on my opinion of it either way. It is a simple, curious question. There are many who would not hunt and expend precious energy on raising those that are not their own. I can only imagine now what Blackthorne’s reaction would be...in fact, I already know. There was a certain threat to Blackthorne’s voice when he asked if I had been with another. I am certain it would end in...violent means. It appears though...that Eden would not do as Thorne does.

I shrug at his comment about packs. There is...much I need to find out, but I must tread carefully about it. ”Hm, and what are they going on about? What has your eastern neighbors been up to, anyway?” I say as I easily stretch out my white limbs, turning my neck to pop it gently before returning to my original position.
