Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Return to Lunar Children
My heart is rooted in the sea

He could feel her emotions and her health overall but it wasn’t enough to paint a clear picture of what was going on in her life. He could see when she was content but he could see she had been in love but he didn’t know what had happened with that. Did she have a mate now? Did she have children? He wanted to know these things. He wanted to know she was okay.

He gave her space when he got to her, not wanting to crowd her or overwhelm her even though his soul cried out for hers now that they were so close. She had a reason for this visit; he just didn’t know what it was yet. She said his name and he beamed at her, shifting his weight in excitement as she stepped forward to run her muzzle alongside his own. He let out a soft chuffing noise of contentment, closing his eyes to let the joy of the imprint rush over him. When he reopened his eyes, they were bright and eager. He knew he had completed his goal as an imprint and he would continue to do that as their lives wore on. An imprint was whatever the female needed and she had needed a friend and brother. It had worked out cause he was already falling for Inanna at the time and she had someone in her heart too. He only hoped that worked out for her. He could tell the contact did something for her too. She seemed a little more happy by the time she stepped back and looked at him, almost apologetically. He tilted his head, surprised until she said that she got carried away and he grinned and shook his head. “Nonsense. I’m here for you, Talien. I always will be.” He smirked when she offered him a wink, liking this playful side of her. When she laughed, it was musical. He wished he could bottle it up and listen to it anytime he wanted.

When he mentioned Taviora, he caught the hesitation in Her expression and his own face sobered, his gaze softening in concern. Something had happened then, not something good. He could feel the sudden tug of her heart and he whimpered softly, wanting her to feel safe enough with him to tell him anything. But he didn’t want to push her either. She put a smile on but his soul told him it was for show and he wasn’t buying it. He scowled in response, though he nodded to her response. “Yes, you are content in the forest, but what about your heart, Talien? Is it happy?” He gazed into her eyes gently, wanting to coax her to open up to him. As her imprint. He couldn’t outright tell when she was lying but he could get a feel for where her mind was at based on the emotions he got through their bond. Where she sounded teasing, he knew she was putting on a show for his sake.

He invited her to the waters edge, knowing it would only do good for her. She seemed happy enough to walk the banks with him, her paws squishing in the sand. As she turned back to him, he smiled at her questions. He was more than happy to open up to her and maybe it would help her feel more secure in their bond. His tail wagged. “I’m good, really good. Inanna has been busy gathering her herbs and being a healer but we make time for each other. We have a son now, Triton. He’s almost two years old. He’s very adventurous and I think he gets some charm from his father.” He smirked with a little wink. “I’d like for him to meet you some time. He loves making new friends. I hear he’s trying to be a diplomat for Eden. I couldn’t be more proud.”
