The actual part of being back here was the strangest of them all. The sensation that rattled deep in my bones. Home. This was the place I'd been borne into this world, where my life began. My siblings had been born here, and as I'd heard, so had a few of my nieces. That information settled so deep in my soul, knowing that this was where so many of my relatives had been given life. I now knew this was where I wanted my life to continue.

I fidgeted, transferring my weight back and forth on my front legs as I watched for any signs of life coming my way. I needed to find myself back in the fold because lets face it, I was getting much too old to be on my own, there was no getting around it. I thought on how I was going to approach my family, how on earth I was going to apologize to my siblings for my disappearance. The satchel I carried looked innocuous, but when you thought of all the deadly poisons inside it.

The ideas swirled in my head, when I heard the sound of another approaching, and my pink eyes swung in the direction of the sound. I spotted the young boy heading my way, and a soft smile spread to my lips, softening my features.

He spoke and I watched his features for a few moments before he spoke again, and I tried to figure out if he could help. "I'm hoping I can find myself a home here, again. You see, I was born here, and I miss it." I sighed looking out at the area around us. "I just hope I'll be welcomed here."

My mind wandered to my siblings, and it made me think of Royce and his sister, and I began wondering what had happened with that, and where he'd gotten off too.
