Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Grimoire’s eyes traced the jagged flesh of his neck. Ah, Eden had earned his title, hadn’t he? She didn’t know the intricate history of Glorall’s alphas. Nakki mentioned Tesseract once in a lesson about the politics of Moladion, but other than a generally neutral position in inter-pack relations, the Demon knew little of the sea-side pack. There first meeting intrigued her, and he continued to entrance her mind. While being so… distant from the squabbles between Diveen, Taviora, Spirane, and Iromar, Glorall seemed a powerful place. Grimoire knew the center of it was Eden… What she didn’t know was how Glorall managed to avoid attention. Couldn’t others sense the gnawing feeling of danger here? And if they could, what caused them to turn their eyes away from it?

Her ears popped forward at his surprise that caused him to return to a neutral position. Oh, she did love herself. Two surprises in one interaction? She was on fire. Maybe mates was closer than she thought? With a coy smile, she adverted her gaze briefly and then returned it to his charming grin. She blinked with an inviting nod. Her temperature warmed when he approached. His breath was spiced with salt. His words were like poison. They seeped over her brain, numbing most of her good sense. She felt as if he were diverting her… rejecting her with sugar coating.

Grimoire’s heart expanded with admiration, and her soul darkened with spite. She leaned forward to gingerly touch their noses together, if he'd allow it. Coquettishly she purred, “Forward, hm?” If only the literal meaning was what he meant. She let a moment pass before she leaned back, “I am a terrible romantic, you know. A mate is a partner,” She stood, snaked her body around and glided her tail under his neck.

She winked at him over her shoulder, “Having a mate is powerful. I’ll meet you there - in the garden of Eden.” Her smile became cruel, and her eyes dimmed. She turned and strode out into the the free-lands, untethered.
