Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

She was so excited about them finishing the hunt together. And they had succeeded! They truly were a great team. She felt such pride in her heart to know that he wanted to do things with her just like she did with him. It was nice to know such feelings weren't one sided. When she looked up at him, their gazes met and his lips started to tug. The simple gesture made her ears prick and her eyes twinkle like stars in the sky. She reacted on instinct then, pouncing at him and she felt the jolt of triumph when they collided. But he stumbled back, tangling in the fawn's legs and she felt him topple backwards, her momentum dragging her down with him. She heard his growl, her own ears flattening at the sound but she couldn't relent now even if she wanted to. She knew he must feel unmanly in this position with her straddling him but for now, she didn't care. She only grinned and leaned down to swipe his cheek with her tongue. She was satisfied when the growl died as suddenly as it had started when she licked him, his whole body freezing.

She pulled back and giggled, her eyes dancing with humor. When she got off of him, he didn't move though. Her ears flicked back and forth uncertainly, tilting her head as she watched him. He almost looked like he wasn't breathing for a minute and she almost went back to check on him and push on his chest or something but she held back at the dazed expression on his face. Was he okay? Her ears laid back, her brows furrowing. But she couldn't help but prance around a little, the excitement still running in her veins. When she looked back at him, his ears were coming back off his head and he was sitting up, though he never quit watching her. The thought only made her straighten up a little more, her tail wagging as she grinned at him. He seemed to be watching her intently but instead of getting nervous, she only felt light as air, like she could do anything with his eyes on her. He seemed to grow thoughtful and her face sobered, her brows furrowing again in concern. What was he thinking about?

For a minute his emotions were almost troubled and she scowled at him, her tail slowing. She was about to say something when his stomach rumbled. Then she giggled again. "Someone's hungry." His face was so animated, his emotions suddenly jumping all over the place before he said that she did most of it and nudged his head toward the fawn. In response, she snorted and shook her head. "Not a chance. We did it together, therefore we eat together." She nudged his shoulder and went to the deer, tearing into its stomach and pulling the guts out on the ground. She looked up at him, licking the blood dripping from her chin before she smiled. "Come on, I won't eat without you."
