Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She seemed happy enough to see him happy. That's what friends did right? They were happy when their friend was happy. He knew somehow that he could trust her. She promised to show him the trick and he grinned from ear to ear and jumped up with a bark of excitement. "Yes!" He cheered, his tail wagging. When he asked her about what her and his father had talked about, he could see she was watching him rather intently. He almost felt shy but he didn't want to show it. That wouldn't be manly of him. But her words helped reassure him. It seemed they didn't talk long, just about their jobs as pack members then because they're both polite, they broke it off so they didn't take up too much of each other's time. That sounded just like his dad. He snorted and shuffled his paw in the dirt. "Yeah right, you're just trying to flatter me. I believe all the other stuff but I know I've got a lot of learning left to do before anyone can consider me a 'fine young wolf.'" He used sarcasm on the last few words, his brow quirking, daring her to argue.

She smirked a little when he mentioned Eira, though he wondered if that was because she was proud he was remembering names or rather because who the girl was. Surely she would already know Eden's family herself though, being an ambitious pack member. She seemed a little amused if anything about Dandelion but then she said that she would help him and he was distracted from all that. She asked about Dandelion and he scowled thoughtfully. She wanted him to practiced lying. Oh boy, he'd need to try hard then. He wanted to make her proud. He thought for a moment before he cleared his throat and spoke. "Okay, so she's pretty darn brave, she can't see that well in the dark, and she loves telling scary stories." He smirked and tilted his head, waiting for her to try her guess. He liked games and this was a pretty cool one in his opinion. His ears flicked back and forth, not wanting to give anything away.
