Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

He hadn't forgotten the wild-eyed female who had burst into Iromar and then burst out again like some demon. How could he? She had amused him to no end and piqued his interest with her ferocity. The scars on her figure had been another sign of her own wildness. The monster within him had responded to such a show of the feral. Now that winter had set, he had become rather entrenched in testosterone. With hormones everywhere, the Darkbringer's mood swayed from maniacal to lustful within moments, a constant tornado of emotion. It was his first winter like this and he took full advantage, several times, with his Darkseeker and with his Shadowweaver. Now that their scents had changed, his attention had been diverted, and he felt a sense of restlessness growing within him.

So he had taken to the free lands with his stalking swagger, charcoal eyes flashing silver every time he caught scent of a nearby male. With his tempo ramped up as it was, he was aching for a fight or well, you know what else. It was alarming just how in control his instincts were during this time yet Thorne was content with it. This was him but on steroids. The monster within him was no longer leashed. It was visible in the way his tongue crossed across his lips and teeth, flashing at nothing, the way his prints left claw marks behind and he left scent trails marking the world.

He had business with the feral-eyed female. Perhaps even more than that if she was unaccompanied and an interested participant, though he knew very little of her or what kin of lifestyle she led. He had been so entrenched in Iromar in the last few weeks, driven to insanity by the scents of estrus everywhere. If he found her out here right now it would be a miracle as a storm began to unfold, sleet coming down in sharp, stabbing intervals with soft flakes. He twists among the trees boldly, obsidian fur tipped in white and ice as he lets go of a growl and then a few barks, hailing her, pausing to listen in case she was nearby.
