Re(1): Red Fox

Yesterday morning I was sitting in my backyard when the Fox came under the fence, walked across my yard and returned back under the fence. It then caught a Black Squirrel next door.
Black Squirrels have had no natural enemies here in downtown Barrie and have become numerous. They cause damage to my yard and buildings. The greater their numbers, the more damage.
I tolerate the Red Squirrels as they chase the Black Squirrels.
Over several years of live trapping, I have removed 170 Black Squirrels. So, the Fox is welcome in my yard. I recall being on a Brereton Field trip about 3 years ago , when we saw a Fox in Sunnidale park run across the grass with a Black Squirrel in it's mouth.
Now if I can just make sure the Fox doesn't get my little Bantam hen, things should be good.
