Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

He didn't understand the ways of imprints and such either but he never questioned it, only challenged it. He had to prove himself as worthy to Inanna when he came back from his travels because she had met her imprint and he knew once he met Talien that it was indeed a force to be reckoned with. He felt happy when he was with Talien but he knew his heart belonged to Inanna. It was a strange battle of wills but in the end, he'd won Inanna's heart and still kept a good relationship with Talien, more like a sister than a friend. He wanted to keep her in his life and protect her against everything but she was a strong independent wolf and he wouldn't have her any other way. He wanted to know how her life was going, hoping that everything was working out for her as it had for him. But there was a sadness about her that he couldn't place but he didn't like either way. She was meant for great things, for happiness and wholeness and yet she wasn't and it irked him to no end.

He asked after her heart and could see wheels turning behind those eyes. She grew silent and thoughtful and he let her have her time to think, offering her only patience and silent comfort. His body jolted with electricity as she nudged into his shoulder. He knew she was just drawing comfort from him and he would always allow that. Finally she told him that her love was not returned but that Taviora was her home. His own heart ached to think that hers was broken. Anger flared to life in his chest. She confirmed that she did have pups and if anything, that only made him more angry. He was guessing she would have only mothered pups to the male she had feelings for, so he violated her only to turn around and break her heart? Bastard. His lips curled. She only spoke good things of Zelda, the alpha there. He was glad she found comfort and possibly friendship in her leadership. Those were good qualities of a leader. She said it was hard and he scowled. She confirmed that the father was indeed the one who turned her away. He growled.

"If you have need for someone to come and....show him the consequences of his Romeo actions, then you let me know. If he didn't mean to return your love, he should have never come to you during the throes of winter. I would defend your honor in a heartbeat, Talien. Just give the word." He turned his sharp gaze to her, almost willing her to tell him yes, that he could find the male in question and teach him a little lesson about hurting someone he never planned to make officially his mate. It disgusted him. He could only admire her strength in this, wanting to remain in Taviora but having to share it with the one who hurt her. It tore at Thor's insides like nothing else. "You are always welcome here if you need a reprieve or vacation of sorts. I'm told the ocean heals most, if not all, wounds. There are empty dens near ours and I'm sure Inanna and my sister Samia would love to meet you." He offered. Then they turned the subject to his son, Triton, and she laughed before telling him her own children were two.

She had a son and daughter, Eztli and Nenetl. He listened as she spoke of their differences and how Eztli pulled away from her only to get close to his father's mate. Thor raised a brow. So the male took someone else as his mate and now she was teaching Talien's children? The plot only thickened. His anger grew back stronger than ever. It was like pouring salt into the wound. It was all he could do not to start a war by racing off to Taviora to raise some havoc, but he knew that would solve nothing. He wouldn't do anything against Talien's wishes, but he was not liking this male who stole her heart more and more by the minute. Her daughter Nenetl was going to be a hunter. Thor smiled. "They sound like they're destined for great things, just like their mother. I'm sure I know where Nenetl gets her strength and Eztli may have just needed someone to understand his particular plight...but there's no replacement for his mother. He may not show it cause some boys are stubborn like that. Believe me, I know." He said with a smirk and a roll of his eyes.

"But he still needs his mother. You can remind him of that." He reached out, butting her gently with his nose. Then she said she'd love to meet Triton and Inanna. Her words surprised him though, his head jerking up a little as his brows rose. "Wait, you've met Inanna before? She never mentioned it." He scowled thoughtfully. He knew he had told Inanna that he met his imprint but she never said anything about meeting her. What happened? What was Inanna looking for? He hated the idea of her keeping secrets but he was sure it wasn't on purpose. It must have just slipped her mind. She did keep busy, after all. He laughed when she said that she was sure Inanna could tell her how goofy he was when he thought he was being charming. "Psh, I make it look good. She'll tell you." He said with a teasing wink. He tilted his head. "Would you like to meet Triton now? I can call him for you. He's been wandering around the pack doing missions for Eden." He waited for her answer before doing anything else.
