Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

It was times like this that Talien appreciated the ability to read one another through the bond. She could tell as her words dragged on, the anger and disgust that boiled beneath the surface of her black imprint, long before he finally broke the silence that settled between them. His fierce green eyes glittered with anger and Talien knew without a shadow of a doubt that were she to give the word, Thor would charge off into Taviora with bloodlust on his mind, his focus upon Dexter. But Talien could not do that. Not to Dexter.

A soft chuckle escaped her lips at his words and the silver white female nudged his shoulder affectionately, her long white plume wagging happily. There was no doubt in her mind that Thor meant every word he spoke, but Talien would not see either of them hurt... Dexter may have her heart... but Thor was her soul's other half and to have him hurt would be equally as devastating.

"Thank you Thor." she begins, reaching out to lick his cheek gently, doing her best to soothe the fires that burned through their soul bond. "But I could not see either of you hurt. You are my soul's call and he my hearts... whether it is reciprocated or not is neither his fault nor my own. He cannot control his heart's desire no more than we could." she murmurs, letting the words sink into her own heart with a sigh as she brings her silver blue gaze to meet the green one's of Thor. "Though your soul calls to mine as mine does to yours... we still chose to follow our hearts.... at the time of our children's conception he was unsure where his heart led him... and he still cares for me I am sure... but his heart belongs to his dark mate.... I cannot fault him for that" she says with a sigh, turning her gaze to the waves as they reached for her toes now, just barely missing them thanks to the pull of the ever changing tide. He offers Glorall to her and Talien smiles, raising a wet paw towards him with a feigned disgusted look. "I dont know... How do you keep the seaweed from growing on your coat? So much salt and wetness... it cannot be good for your fur." she teases with a laugh, her tail wagging playfully as a single brow raises. "But dont think I wont come visit more often, especially now that Etli and Nenetl are older... I would love to meet your sister and I would love to catch up with Inanna, perhaps learn a thing or two about all the herbs and tricks she has learned over these past few years. Not to mention listen to all the stories about you." she says with a laugh, finding a sense of delight and pleasure in the fact that he was not aware that she had Inanna had met. It had been awhile ago, before they had officially become mates. Inanna had found her in the fields and Talien will never forget the look of suspicion that first clung to Thor's mate. She knew who Talien was... but there was also a fear... in a sense. She wanted to give her heart to the black wolf, but she was afraid of the soul bond... it had been Talien's reassurance that settled a sense of bond between even she and Inanna and in all honestly, she felt herself as though Inanna had become a sister of sorts. "I take it she didnt mention it to you... Im not suprised... there were some JUICY stories we shared..." she teased shaking her head with a laugh.

He offers her words of wisdom when dealing with Eztli and Talien cannot help the sense of relief that floods through her, or the appreciative flash that dances in her eyes. He was right. Though Tuari was able to help him deal with being a mute... he was still her son, and regardless of his anger... she would always be his mother. She would simply just have to bite the bullet and break the barriers that had built up between them.

He turns the subject now to his son, and Talien is relieved to think of something beyond her own struggles. He offers to call Triton to join them and Talien's eyes brighten with excitement. "Yes! I would love to meet him. I must see how much like you he is... and hopefully alot of his mother too." she teases licking his cheek before bounding a bit high up the beach and out of the cold ocean's reach. Yes, she was a wolf of the forest, she could only take the water's touch for so long before the desire to be dry again got the better of her. She gives her thick winter coat a shake and turns her icy blue gaze back to him. "Long as we are not interrupting with anything your alpha has him doing... I would hate to make myself a nuisance to him OR your alpha."
