What's a distant fan to do in lieu of attending EyeTunes? One could listen to Jumble Sail - not the Newell CD but a new EP by a couple of characters known in this pub-- Big Al Davies and Mitch Friedman. Four high-spirited and clever songs apparently done via internet collaboration. Or one could curl up with Oddcaste 27 "Dandy In The Underworld", er I mean "Dandy On The Circle Line", which is one of the finest in the series, a splendid blend of the old (The Move's brilliant Omnibus) the very old (Aunt Paula Lies In Bed and Eats Tomatoes) the new (of Arrowe Hill) and the very new (Dandy is in fact a not yet released effort by Martin). I will take comfort in knowing a DVD is coming while wondering how 'Omnibus' got four syllables. Wasn't George Harrison mocked for stretching 'Bangla-Desh' to four syllables? Replies:
