Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

He was trying to keep her hopes up like he always did. He had no idea what his future held or what he would do with the rest of his life but he'd be damned if he was going to drag Corona down that hole with him. She would have the greatest life if he had anything to do with it. She was meant for great things and he would make sure she never wanted for anything. He would pick up where their mother left off. He knew she noticed things between him and his mother. It was always awkward. Eclipse always glared in his direction when he came by. She never looked at him the same way she looked at Corona and Prometheus. Even after their sorry excuse for a father came and tried to kill Saros, she saved his life but things only got more awkward. It was like she was trying to treat him a little better but she was so used to the old way of treating him that it didn't come naturally. It never felt right to him. But he couldn't put that same rejection on Corona.

Corona and Eclipse had been close. They had that mother/daughter bond. He didn't want to damage that bond by anything he said against Eclipse, no matter their differences. So when Corona seemed upset about losing their mother's trail, he told her that Eclipse could always come back. Only for Corona's sake did he hope so. He would probably avoid her trail if he ever came across it but he would help Corona find her if she ever asked. He would do anything for his sister. That's what he was here for. She agreed with him and he grinned. "Oh, I know I am." He said with a wink. When he asked about Prometheus, he could see the instant effect on her. She looked so sad that he wanted to wrap himself around her and protect her from the world. His own ears flicked back at the dismay on her features. She said that she thought he would be with Prometheus or knew where he was. He frowned. "Sorry, we got separated. I haven't see him."

He could tell Corona was taking this hard and he hated this for her. He wanted to tell her it wasn't her fault, that sometimes wolves just leave and there's nothing you can do about it. He had learned early how to be on his own and adapt but she was always surrounded by family. Until now. Now they only had each other. At least he managed to get a laugh out of her when he said that he needed supervision. She agreed, reaching out to poke at his chest with a paw as she said he might start a war over a female. He snorted and shook his head. "I'm not a savage, sis. And females are too much trouble. With you around, why would I ever want another?" He smirked. He had been having some fun meeting other wolves like Adrian and Dandelion but he wasn't looking for anything special just yet. Females still had cooties as far as he was concerned. He cared only about finding easy victims to play pranks on and finding out what he could about Moladian and the wolves in it. Maybe he should feel guilty for not trying to find his siblings or his mother but he was too concerned with surviving and adapting to his new loner life.

And now he had a pack. At least he had followed another wolf to their pack in hopes of joining. And soon he would have his sister there with him. What else could he want for? Sure, it would be nice to have Prometheus around too but he couldn't wish his brother back so he'd just have to keep going. When he asked Corona about her plans, she said half of them were done cause she found him but that the rest was going to be her lounging in the sun. He snorted. "Boring. We can do better than that." She promptly collapsed to the ground and rolled over on her back, wriggling around. He couldn't help but laugh at her. "You're silly." He admonished but he had a grin the whole time. She reached out, pushing at him with her paw and he smirked, knowing what she was fishing for. He tilted his head at her question. "What if I say both?" He raised a brow daringly. He turned then, nipping at her tail before he circled around, nipping at her ears and whiskers. He laughed, bouncing like a puppy, dancing out of reach between nips in case she retaliated.
