The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

Draven
I'm Your Worst Nightmare Dressed as your Day Dream

Draven had never once in his life submitted to an Alpha, not in the way that most vargs did when they joined a pack. For, he had only ever belonged to two entities - the first had been the one that he had been born into. Yes, there had been loyalty and respect, but he had never had to plead his case there - his parents did that for him. And as for Caidir Olc? He had played Lucaya like a fiddle, and had not needed to submit to her, or rather, had refused. He had told her that he would be loyal to her, but that he would not follow rules, nor demands, and would not even considering listening to anyone other than her. He was his own individual self, and if she wanted him to back her in the fight to reclaim the land that Lucaya wanted, she would have to accept his terms. And it had worked beautifully - Draven was feared and respected by basically everyone in the pack, and had been allowed to come and go as he pleased without any repercussions. In fact, he had been booted right up to Beta just about right after she took the reins. And so those were his two experiences with Alphas… And although he was slightly annoyed by Sindicate‘s response, he was also amused, amused and intrigued. Draven had thought that this dark hessian would accept him based on his word alone… But apparently Sindicate wasn’t an idiot. It was a relief really… For someone to require proof strength, it was surprising. He couldn’t help himself, however, from a snarky remark at the talk of legends. Draven opened the gates that held back his hunger, and could feel his need for blood coursing through him. The titan snarled and raised lips, in order to show Sindicate his extending fangs that grew even now, in addition to his now glowing pools of crimson.

You may think vampires are legend, but I think you’ll find that we are anything but. I am very real, and very hungry most of the time.

Draven closed his mouth and retracted his fangs, and then stood, now in opposition to Sindicate‘s postured sitting. He listened to the demands, his tail flicking back-and-forth in agitation. It had been a long time since someone had stood up to him, since someone had questioned him or talked back to him. Sindicate had a problem with his long-winded conversation? That was fine and dandy really, but it did not mean that he would cease to have them. He often had such discussions with his prey, and had had them with Lucaya as well. But this time, his reasoning for it was because he wished to ensure that this would be a pack where he would actually fit in. That this would be a pack where he would actually want to live, and in order to delve out that information, he had to make sure that the Alpha knew exactly who he was, and what it was that he had done. And Sindicate? And the titan did not seem bothered by his heinous crimes, but rather, nearly did not believe them. It seemed that Draven would actually have to put in some effort for once… But perhaps there was a small chance that it would all be worth it. Sindicate himself went on, not with any concise monologue himself, mind you, and Draven remained silent until finally the Alpha released what the cost of entry was… for a wolf who hated long winded explanations, he was quite wordy himself. All of this had been building up, and building up, and building up to something that Draven thought would be difficult. But when his audettes picked up on the cost of entry, Draven laughed again.

Is that it? All that you require is a fresh kill, skinned?” Draven smirked and nodded his head slowly, rolling it over in his mind. At least it was something amusing, it would provide him something to feed upon. Perhaps he would not need to put in that much effort after all - Draven had made many such kills in the past, but usually saved the skins and dried them out in order to make his bed. The ebony brute finally broke the silence with an answer. “I will return, with that which you have asked for. I have a few things… I have to get wrapped up first though.” And he went to leave, but then turned around to face Sindicate once more. “I am a good ally to have, and one you would never wish as your enemy. I will bring what you ask, and now, if you have nothing else for me I shall take my leave, my liege.” He dipped back into a low bow, and then stood and turned, turned to head back to Caidir Olc, deal with Diosa, and hand in his resignation. After all, there was a war coming, and there would be plenty bodies to choose from…
