Sekhmet was contemplating the male's words and he certainly had been proving himself, unlike most others. “You can fight. You enjoy the hunt. Who’s life…Do you desire?” Her words were an odd mix between a mix between a hiss and growl like a purr. Her question was only thinly veiled as she was seeking out any information she could gather on who the male may have issues with after all perhaps they could be of other's aid. When he spoke of a higher rank she felt her eyes look over her with contemplation in her eyes. “A higher rank. Perhaps I have one. An adviser to me?” There was a hissing laugh that escaped her maw the devious nature hidden in her eyes. “You know little. Adviser? My Adviser is…power.” This time the purred growl was accompanied by a toothy grin. It was a rare display of teasing joy.
When the male answered her about his story she settled in and listened intently. “Vampire?” This was the statement that stood out most. To be fair she was unable to grasp why he had not been given a rank, after all, he seemed quite valuable. “Do you like it? To see them suffer?” It was an honest question, something that reminded her of the Apep on their hunt together. After all, she would not fault them for these things. It was good to learn about those she kept close to her after all. A beneficial thing to say the least. Sekhmet had wanted the best for her dark ones. A haven of sorts. Though she was not as torturous as the snake it was something she was capable of when it felt right and for some, on it was all she felt they deserved.
There is a softness in the woman's eyes as the male spoke of his nature. She admired him and that in and of itself was a rarity. “Shall we burn it?” It was an inquiry as much as it was an invitation. Where she may have been lacking perhaps he prospered and she could hone in on that darkness and expand it. Sekhmet was content to see what could be broken and what would last. “You are cunning. Where would you strike?” The was an eagerness that bubbled to the surface a lust of sorts dancing in her eyes. Not for the male before her but the chaos that could befall those around them. This was something that appealed to her and this is what she desired. Everything shattering like glass, was that not entrancing?
