Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

She did not know how she had managed to stop the battle that happened up in the caves… But all she knew was that it was over. And as rewarding as that was - stopping blood shed - it did not lessen her nausea at all, because of the war that was starting. Perhaps starting was not quite the correct term - there had been a feud between the vampires and the Tempests for centuries now, for as long as the Arcus Irae had history. But these Tempests, and these vampires, they were enemies anew, and so although they were continuing the feud, this battle would be the first of many in the years to come for them. There had been a few skirmishes, a few incidents that had led up to this… But now, war would be declared officially. And the thought of so many injuries and deaths made her feel faint - if only there were a way to cure vampires of their ailments, to turn them into normal mortals instead of the bloodthirsty beasts that they were. And vampires themselves… Just a single thought of them sent a shiver down her spine, all of her hairs erecting and she had to bite her lip to hold back the gag that threaten to overcome her. All rainbows were repulsed by vampires because their very nature was one of corruption, but how much each Arcus Irae was affected differed from wolf to wolf, and Zawyne happened to be one of the more highly affected rainbows. Even when she had been told stories about them when she was younger, she had gotten sick, and once had nearly fainted. It had not eased at all as she had gotten older… But that still did not mean that she wished for them to die.

Still, she knew that it had to happen, to account for the deaths of the Tempest and the rainbows that had been taken at the paws of the vampires. That did not mean that the sunrise princess would enjoy it or linger any of her thoughts upon it. In fact, it was just the opposite - she wished to be distracted, she wished her thoughts to be kept off of it completely. She knew now that there were no guarantees in this land, especially when it came to her safety, but she was willing to play the odds that any vampires out and about would be otherwise distracted by the battle, so she would be at least safe from them. And it had been the only thing she could think up - what she was doing right now, that is. Exploring. This time, however, she had stayed away from the caves and instead had crept into the surrounding trees around the pack. Never did she stray too far from the boundary, not more than a mile run or so. She was fast and could get away, or at least get to safety if need be… But still the distance gave her a little bit of free will, a little bit of wiggle room. And the trees… They were amazing, beautiful, unique. It was to be expected that when one moved from one land to another, there would be changes in the landscape. And Zawyne found herself truly amazed by all the new species of plants that were here, compared with at home.… But then… This was home now, wasn’t it?

The thought sullied her mood, and she kicked over a nearby rock only to upset a den spiders that had been hiding underneath it. They scattered, and a bunch of the baby arachnids skittered toward her. Zawyne squealed and scrambled over herself backwards. She had been too occupied in her own thoughts to realize that there was another near her, until, that is, she barreled straight into him while running backwards. Her heart jumped up into her throat and she swallowed, before standing and turning around to face the stranger. But her shades widened in surprised -it was no stranger at all… Not that it was any close friend of hers, but it was at least an acquaintance. Zawyne backed away from him and stood, shaking out her pelt in an effort both to collect her appearance and her thoughts. She smiled politely and systematically tilted her head from side to side, examining him, looking for his wounds from the fight with Castiel.

Hello Mister. Are you feeling all right?” She honestly had not expected him to stick around, not after the run in at Culter Unlaeddod… And yet here he was, still hanging around Dierne Hrof. Per usual, curiosity got the best of her, and she found herself wanting to more - more about him, where he came from, why he had come to Blossom Forest at all. “Is there… Something I can help you with? Do you not have a pack to go home to?
